2015

Some years are more memorable than others and 2014 is definitely one of those years. I remember sitting at Caribou coffee with my sweet hubby on New Years Eve, reflecting on 2013 and all that took place. We ended 2013 with hopeful hearts and praying that the Lord would bless us with a baby in 2014.  That He did. My mind races through the landmarks of the last 12 months and God is there through it all. He was there through the patience of the first three months of the year and the discouraging whispers that loomed my thoughts. He was there when I took the 5th pregnancy test and finally had a positive test. He was there through the morning sickness, which come to find out is all day sickness. Those were 12 hard weeks of relying on God for strength and energy. He was there when we celebrated with our friends and family that we were going to welcome a baby girl into this world he was there when we found Abigail's name in our morning reading. He was in Colorado on Caravan- speaking into the lives of 100 students and staff. He was there at the start of school- keeping my motivation high and energy alive. He was there through the numerous doctor appointments, two versions and several stressful days near the end of pregnancy.  The love of God shone through in the hospital room when he blessed us with Abby Sue on October 30th. And he continues to be with us as we journey through this new, exciting and challenging thing called mom and dad. God gives and he takes away. We are grateful to be on this new journey with Christ as our foundation. It was a blessed 2014. Whose life can you impact in 2015? Where is God going to use you this year?
